The Dutch American Heritage Foundation annually hosts a fund raising gala dinner-dance in mid-November. This year the event will be held on November 18, 2006, at the California Club in downtown Los Angeles. Please click here for more details.
One of our activities is an annual concert by gifted young Dutch musicians. The ‘Prinses Christina Concours’ in the Netherlands once again carefully selected this year’s laureates. Vera Kerstens, piano, Felicia van den End, flute, Svjatoslav Presnyakov, piano, and Tosca Opdam, violin, proved to be excellent young musicians with a great career ahead of them. The DAHEF Board of Directors have been updated. For 2006 Bob Visser was elected President and Eric van Ginkel Vice President. Professor Margaret Jacob, UCLA Dutch Studies Program, and Luke Siemensma, President of the UNO, have joined the DAHEF board as directors.
